The exhibition tells about the great emigration from the end of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century when almost 400 000 Finns went to America. Most of the emigrants left through Hanko and some 30 000 Russian Jews also chose this route. In Hanko one can still see traces of the mass traffic. At Hanko Museum until 13.10.2013.
